Call for tutorials
Tutorials for Radar 2027 are requested from leading experts on a range of critical technical topics including (but not limited to):
- Advanced radar processing techniques
- Autonomous vehicle radar
- Bi-static and multi-static radar
- Cognitive radar and resource management
- Communications and radar spectrum sharing
- Digital array radar
- High-resolution/multi-dimensional imaging radar
- Inverse synthetic aperture radar
- Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC)
- Machine learning and artificial intelligence for radar
- Medical and biological radar sensing devices
- Multifunctional radar
- Over-the-horizon radar
- Passive radar
- Phased array and MIMO radar
- Radar detection, estimation and interference mitigation
- Radar for air and missile defense
- Radar for drone and counter-drone applications
- Radar modelling and simulation
- Radar systems prototyping
- Radar tracking and sensor data fusion
- Space radar
- Synthetic Aperture Radar

What to include in your tutorial submission:
Tutorial authors and presenters are required to submit a two - three page syllabus that includes key details outlined below. This includes:
- Technical topics to be covered
- The intended audience
- Learning outcomes
- Pre-requisites for attending the tutorial
- A short presenter(s) biography
- Schedule for a four-hour technical tutorial (including a 20–30-minute break)
- List of previous venues where the proposed tutorial has been presented
- Estimate of attendance numbers
This common information across all tutorial proposals ensures fairness when the conference committee compares them in deciding which ones to approve.
All tutorial submissions must be electronically submitted to radar@theiet.org no later than 27 November 2026.
You will be notified if the tutorial is approved by 11 December 2026.
